And earlier today I cast on with Posh Yarn's February sock club yarn "Kiss Me", which arrived yesterday. This is the Lucia sock yarn, 70% merino and 30% cashmere and, again, is gorgeous to knit with.
(http://www.magknits.com/Feb07/patterns/falling.htm) and it's going really well so far. It's a very clear pattern and easy to follow. And, after knitting 23.5 pairs of top down socks, I really thought it was time to try toe up, which is going quite nicely at the moment. I'm not sure how I'll cope with the short row heel, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. ;)

That looks brilliant Linda. It's great to see people knitting my socks. Can't wait to see them finished. Let me know if you have any problems with the short row heels. Or you could try the gusset/heel flap. INstructions for both are included. Good luck
Thanks Anni, I had no problem with the short row heel at all, thanks to your instructions. I think all my socks will be made toe up from now on. Thanks! :) (P.S. - I think everyone should make these socks - they really are gorgeous ;) )
wow, those Anni socks are fab, I've got that colour of posh yarn too ;) Not brave enough to try toe up yet!! and the other posh socks are lovely too.
Thank you Linda. And now I know who beat me to the skeins of Emily Sweet Shop. I was after those for my daughter Emily. She would have loved those colours. Is that enough to make you feel guilty? LOL Just kidding. Gorgeous socks though. I love Posh sock yarn.
Linda I was wanting to pick your brains! I tried knitting a 60 stitch sock with Emily as usual but it is way too big, did you have to adjust the number of cast on stitches? Thanks. :)
Your socks are all fabulous, I'm very envious of your skills. :)
